Cleansing balm for dry, sensitive skin and blackheads: HEEDA

Why did I choose it for blackhead care on dry, sensitive skin?

I manage blackheads with cleansing oil or cleansing balm because I worry that nose strips or sebum softeners might feel irritating. This product felt thick at first, but it melted onto my skin and applied smoothly.

How do you store the spatula?

The spatula is built into the container, so I could store it inside the jar. The top and the twist-off section come apart, which was convenient because I did not have to keep the spatula separately.

How did I use it around my nose?

• I scooped out an appropriate amount and gently massaged it over my skin.
• On days when my blackheads bothered me, I massaged around my nose a little longer or used it only on my nose.
• I added water and emulsified it until it turned white, then rinsed it off thoroughly with water.

In my experience, after emulsifying, it rinsed away without residue, and even my very dry skin felt less tight underneath.

How was it for removing makeup?

I tested it with brush-pen eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and tint, and it removed them without any trouble. I also did not feel much dryness after cleansing, so it suited me well.

Was it good to pack as a travel cleanser too?

I tend to wear long-lasting makeup, so I pack a cleansing balm when I travel too. I was less worried about it spilling than cleansing oil, and it is relatively compact, so I thought it would be a product to bring on a family trip.
