A private-room meal for a gathering
I visited on a weekday evening. It is great for family gatherings or company dinners, so I reserved ahead and was shown to a private room, where we could chat and eat comfortably.
The basic banchan (Korean side dishes) came with pickled onions, wasabi, salt, shredded radish salad, lemon sauce, scallion salad, myeongi leaves, and doenjang-seasoned cucumber peppers. There were so many different side dishes and sauces to go with the beef that it never became too rich.

And seriously, what was with the amount of side dishes... They gave us so much, haha. The portions were generous, so you can really eat your fill. It would be great to visit with family or friends, too.

Uno assorted galbi and seonji haejangguk
You can order from a kiosk, and there are so many Korean beef cuts available. They also have an assorted set, which was nice because we could try several cuts at once.
- Uno Assorted Galbi Platter ₩98,000
- Cold noodles ₩10,000

Before the beef came out, they first served seonji haejangguk (spicy beef blood soup). The soup was nicely spicy and so delicious, too. I do not usually love seonji, but perhaps because Uno's was so fresh, there was no unpleasant smell and it tasted great.

Then the Uno Assorted Galbi Platter arrived! It looked so cool with smoke coming off it, haha. From the marbling alone, the beef looked incredibly fresh—perhaps because it was such high-grade Korean beef!

The Uno Assorted Galbi Platter includes cubed chuck flap, beef tongue, fresh galbi, and marinated galbi meat.

Four Korean beef cuts grilled by the staff
The staff grill everything for you, so even people who are not good at grilling meat can enjoy a relaxed meal! Grilling can be inconvenient at a gathering, especially, but here the staff handle it all, so it is easy to enjoy yourselves. The first cut they grilled was the cubed chuck flap. Its texture was amazing and it just melted in my mouth—I loved it. The chuck flap was my favorite cut, haha.

I topped it with salt or wasabi, and it was so good.

The beef tongue was refreshing with the house lemon sauce, and its crisp bite let you really taste how fresh it was, haha. If you love beef tongue, this will be completely your thing.

Next, they grilled the fresh galbi. It had such a satisfyingly chewy texture, and because it was Korean beef, it was clearly very juicy with a lovely beefy aroma!

Finally, we had the marinated galbi. I love marinated galbi, so I really enjoyed it, while my mom said she liked the fresh galbi better, haha. Everyone has different preferences, but the point is that every cut was delicious!

Eat it with the pickled onions and you can keep going forever, haha.

Cold noodles with a Korean beef mulhoe feel
We also ordered the cold noodles! They are a little different from naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles); they have more of a yukhoe mulhoe (raw beef cold soup) feel. Since it is Korean beef mulhoe, it was cool, tangy, and spicy, making it perfect for cleansing the palate. You absolutely have to finish at Uno with the cold noodles, haha.

They are also a perfect pairing with the beef! The Uno Assorted Galbi Platter is usually four servings, so it was a good amount for three to four people. I recommend trying the assortment first, then ordering more of the cuts you liked best!

They even served patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) as a complimentary finish, so we had a real dessert and went home rubbing our full bellies, haha. Since you can have bingsu, too, it is a great Korean beef restaurant near Seolleung Station to visit with children.
Chuseok Korean beef gift sets

Uno also sells Korean beef gift sets for the Chuseok holiday! It would be nice to enjoy delicious beef and pick up a Chuseok gift set to share great Korean beef with family, haha. The fresh Korean beef is good value, so I am thinking of buying one as a gift this holiday, too :)
- Gift Set A: ribeye plus 3 cuts, 600–650 g, ₩130,000
- Gift Set B: ribeye plus 3 cuts, total 1.2 kg, ₩230,000
- Premium Gift Set: ₩380,000 / a grill assortment of the day's best 1++ special cuts, including front ribeye, salchisal, shrimp meat, outside skirt, tenderloin, and alchima
If you are looking for a gathering spot in Daechi-dong or a place for a company dinner near Seolleung Station, I recommend reserving Uno in Seolleung and giving it a try!
