How did it feel on oily skin?
I have skin that often breaks out and produces a lot of sebum, so I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm while looking for a charcoal cleanser. I tend to get white sebum around both sides of my nose after showering, but after cleansing, it was less noticeable and my skin felt clean.
Was the texture and method difficult to use?
It was my first time using a cleansing balm, but the method was not difficult. I scooped some out with the spatula, applied it to my face, added a little water and massaged it in, then rinsed with lukewarm water.
The balm scooped out softly like ice cream and melted moisturisingly on my skin. It felt like it turned into an oil as it met the warmth of my hands, so I could spread it across my whole face fairly quickly.
What were the storage and included items like?
It was a size that fit in one hand, with a clear inner cover and spatula inside. The spatula could be attached to the lid for storage, which made it convenient to keep on my bathroom shelf.
The expiration date on the product I received was Nov 15, 2026. If you tend to have a lot of sebum or are looking for a charcoal cleansing balm, it may be worth considering.
