How did it work for sensitive and combination-oily skin?
I have combination-oily skin and was looking for a gentle cleanser, so I tried the HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Duo Set. My child, who has sensitive skin, used it too, as did a friend who came to our home during school break.
My child did not say it stung or felt drying, and described it as cool and refreshing. It had been difficult for us to share the same product because of our different skin types, but this time we were each satisfied with how it felt.
How did the cleansing balm remove makeup?
I used the cleansing balm first to remove makeup in the evening. It had a black formula, and when I scooped some out and rubbed it between my hands, it felt as though it melted smoothly.
Even on days when I wore heavier makeup, it seemed to clear away residue without repeated rubbing. It also felt smooth after washing on days when I used sunscreen or BB cream. For me, it left a more moisturized feeling than tightness after washing.
How did the foam cleanser feel during and after washing?
The foam cleanser produced rich, soft lather. The fine, dense foam felt as though it wrapped around my face, so it felt less irritating while washing.
After washing, my face felt smooth and fresh, and I did not notice much residue. Skin reactions can vary from person to person, though.
What stood out about the packaging and set?
With both a foam cleanser and cleansing balm, it was convenient to use them separately on makeup days and on days when I just wanted a simple cleanse. The minimalist black-and-white packaging looked neat in the bathroom or on a vanity.
