Yukjjip is a Korean BBQ restaurant at the entrance to Bulgwangcheon Stream in Eunpyeong, Seoul. I tried the 600g Yukjjip Assortment of aged Jirisan pork, with staff grilling every cut from start to finish. Verdict: the varied cuts, substantial banchan, and yeolmu bibim-guksu were satisfying across the board.
Golmokjip Galbisal Yeonsinnae Main Branch is a charcoal-grilled beef restaurant about a four-minute walk from Yeonsinnae Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. On my sixth-plus visit, I ordered a full platter of beef rib meat and a half platter of marinated beef rib meat; the raw meat stood out for its tenderness and charcoal aroma, while the marinade let the beef flavor come through.
