I was hunting for a good pork cutlet in Seongan-gil and ended up at Bunnys Restaurant (버니스 레스토랑). Once I actually ate there, I understood right away why it's known for cutlets in Seongan-gil. The atmosphere, the taste and the portions all satisfied me :)

Walking along Seongan-gil, the stylish exterior caught my eye and my feet just carried me over. 😊 The space reinterprets 90s family-restaurant vibes in a modern way, so I was excited from the entrance.

They registered our parking for 1 hour at the underground car park of CU Multiplex (the former Lotte Cinema building) right in front of the restaurant!!!!

It's in the heart of Seongan-gil, so it's easy to reach, and it suits dates, get-togethers with friends and family meals. There's an event where they take a Polaroid photo if you visit on your birthday, and pets are allowed if you ask the restaurant in advance.
Interior, self-serve bar and facilities for kids
Stepping inside, the space was roomy and pleasant, with warm lighting that made it really comfortable.

Retro touches and a clean interior blend well, and it made me want to stay for a long time. :)

The tables are spaced widely, so it was easy to talk, and it felt comfortable for family meals or group gatherings.

Ordering is by table tablet, which made it simple,

and I liked that the self-serve bar lets you freely refill side dishes if you run short, haha

High chairs and aprons are also available, which is great for families dining with kids.
Bunnys Restaurant menu

Bunnys has a wide range of dishes that capture the old Western-style diner (gyeongyangsik) feel. There are enduring favorites like the nostalgic Monte Cristo and the oven-baked mushroom cream pasta, plus pork cutlets, hotplate rice and pasta, so whoever you come with, everyone can order to their taste.
True to its "restaurant of memories" concept, many dishes take familiar flavors and make them a bit more refined, so even reading the menu was fun. The music was from that era too, haha: HOT, Fin.K.L and so on, haha
How is the pork cutlet with Napolitan?

The cutlet is made with aged Korean pork (hanjong) loin, and from the first bite the crispy coating and juicy meat texture were really good.

The nostalgic homemade diner-style sauce is sweet and sour with deep savory richness, and it naturally reminded me of the cutlets I ate as a kid.

The Napolitan spaghetti served alongside has a rich tomato flavor with a gentle sweetness, the kind you keep reaching for without feeling heavy.

Alternating with the cutlet, the combination really worked. 😊
Seafood hotplate rice

The sizzling sound from the hot plate alone got my appetite going.

It's generously loaded with seafood like shrimp and squid that tasted fresher the more I chewed, and the fluffy rice was coated evenly in the special sauce, so I enjoyed it down to the last spoonful.

It has a subtle smoky wok aroma and the seasoning isn't too strong, so you keep eating, and it stayed warm to the end, which made it even more satisfying.
Final thoughts

This visit was satisfying in both the food and the atmosphere. It gave off a vibe a bit different from the usual restaurants these days, which made it more memorable, and I could feel care in every dish. Above all, the comfortable atmosphere made the meal more enjoyable, and conveniences like the self-serve bar and table ordering raised my satisfaction too.
If you're looking for a pork cutlet place in Seongan-gil, I'd definitely recommend the pork cutlet with Napolitan, and if you want a hearty meal, the seafood hotplate rice is a really satisfying choice. It suits lunch, dates, family meals and gatherings with friends, and next time I want to try the other popular dishes too.
If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere, tasty restaurant in Seongan-gil, give Bunnys Restaurant a visit. I'm sure it'll be a satisfying meal. ^^
