Myeongdong jokbal restaurant for a late 9pm dinner: Miss Jokbal
Miss Jokbal Seoul Myeongdong Branch is a Korean restaurant at 21 Myeongdong 3-gil in Jung-gu, Seoul, serving jokbal (Korean braised pig's trotters) with a wide spread of sides. After shopping at Lotte Department Store, the writer arrived just after 9pm, waited for a table in a full dining room, and ordered the hwangje (emperor) jokbal, flying fish roe rice balls and kimchi kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup). The chewy skin, tender meat and sharp, spicy kimchi kalguksu made Miss Jokbal a satisfying late dinner in Myeongdong.
