Sushi Doku The Songdo is a Songdo sushi restaurant I visit so often I've lost count (NNNN-th visit, basically). I've paid with my own money plenty of times, and I went again this time haha

Songdo actually has a ridiculous number of sushi places, but it's hard to find one good enough to return to. That's why I keep coming back to Sushi Doku The Songdo. The sushi place I think of when I think of Songdo, you know?? What I always order at Sushi Doku The Songdo is the Premium Sushi Set (myeongpum sushi jeongsik)!!! The Standard Sushi Set is tasty too, of course, but it leaves me wanting a bit more haha, and when the Special feels too pricey, I always end up going with the Premium.

The restaurant is always this clean, so it's a nice place to bring guests~ I queued at opening this day too, and the place was full the second it opened, seriously o_O Good, tasty places really do draw crowds without saying a word.

How fast does the Premium Sushi Set come out?

After I ordered two Premium Sushi Sets at Sushi Doku The Songdo, the sushi came out within about 10 minutes. Super fast, love it!

The Premium Sushi Set has my beloved salmon.. flounder.. sweet shrimp.. tuna.. eel... monkfish liver (ankimo).. How could you not love this? Look at the color of the fish, it practically says 'I'm fresh' on it.

From my beloved chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) to the sashimi quality, tempura and karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken), there's so much good stuff that I always leave Sushi Doku stuffed haha lol

At Sushi Doku The Songdo, you don't dip the sushi in soy sauce; it's set up so you brush it on like this. That way it always goes on neatly, which I love!

My pick today is, once again, the chawanmushi........ I'm giving it first place right away. The chawanmushi at Sushi Doku The Songdo is truly perfect from the very first spoonful hehehe

Is the udon that comes with the set good too?

Oh! And the udon that comes as a side with the set at Sushi Doku The Songdo is tasty too haha. A good restaurant should be good from the main to the sides.

The fish cake inside the udon is so cute hehehe. Having a side in the middle of eating sushi is part of the charm of Sushi Doku, my Songdo favorite! Ordering the set means no need to order sides separately, which is the most convenient!
