What is It's Pizza Dasan like?

It's Pizza Dasan is a pizza place with a hip-looking exterior that opened in Dasan, Namyangju. It opened right near my home, so I went! I heard it's a go-to Donong Station spot for dates, and the space is roomy and good for bringing kids, so lots of people were there for family get-togethers too.

It's Pizza Dasan opens early and stays open late, so it works for pizza and a beer in the evening or a simple lunch menu during the day.

The inside has room for plenty of people, so it's a cozy place to come as a group and enjoy pizza and beer.

How do ordering and sauce refills work?

At It's Pizza Dasan you order with the tablet at your table. It shows photos and detailed descriptions of each set, so ordering was no trouble at all!

If you run low on garlic sauce, pickles or yogurt sauce, you can easily order a refill through the tablet. No extra charge!

The tableware was clean too, and they even set out knives to make eating easier.

How did we put together the half-and-half set?

What we ordered at It's Pizza Dasan was the half-and-half set. It lets you enjoy several things at once, so I chose it without much agonizing. For the pizza I picked Shrimp Gold and Hot Bulgogi, and I changed the edge to the cheese nude edge. For the salad I chose the chicken tender salad.

We had come by car, so we drank Pepsi Zero, but there are lots of brewed beers too, so I really recommend it for anyone who wants pizza and beer! It's great weather for daytime drinking, haha.

They have high chairs too, so it seems fine to come with babies.

Hot Bulgogi pizza and chicken tender salad

The Hot Bulgogi pizza isn't too harsh, but a subtle heat builds up and cuts the richness, so you can keep eating it to the end without getting tired of it.

The chicken tender salad made me think, wow, you get a spread this generous with a pizza set? Plenty of crispy fried tenders sat on top of fresh vegetables, so the texture was great, and eating it alongside the pizza made me feel less guilty.

So this is what pizza tastes like when you eat it right there, with no delivery. I hadn't felt that in a long time.

Wedge fries

The wedge fries came out freshly fried and still crispy, and they were so hot I had to eat them carefully. Thanks to the seasoning powder sprinkled on top, they were far more addictive than regular fries!

Salty and savory at the same time, they were perfect for nibbling on one after another.

Was switching to the cheese nude edge worth it?

Isn't the set menu at It's Pizza Dasan packed? Order just one set and you get pizza, salad and fries, so the value was honestly really good. There wasn't a single part of the pizza that wasn't tasty.

I liked that the cheese nude edge, with cheese inside the crust end, let me taste the cheese better than ordinary cheese bites. When eating pizza you sometimes leave the crust, but here there's cheese inside the edge, so I could enjoy it right down to the last bite.

How did the Shrimp Gold pizza taste?

Personally, I liked the Shrimp Gold pizza more. My husband gave up his share for me, so I ate it very happily. Heehee, dipping it in the unlimited garlic sauce, chomp chomp, was absolutely heavenly.

On Shrimp Gold the shrimp are plump and have a great texture, and the combination of cheese and sauce was a perfect match. The gold ring crust in particular added a savory, premium flavor from the cheese. There were plenty of sauces, so I never got tired of it to the end, and the quality made "JMT" (Korean slang for insanely delicious) come out on its own.

Above all, the dough isn't too thick, so it was easy to enjoy without feeling heavy. There was plenty of cheese too, with a nice chewy texture, and the harmony of toppings and sauce was totally satisfying! I recommend It's Pizza Dasan to anyone who wants fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza with a tasty beer.
