Gyeongju mochi shop with persimmon yogurt and raw chocolate: Tareudang
Tareudang is a takeout-focused Hwangnam mochi shop on Sajeong-ro in Gyeongju's Hwangnidang-gil. Arriving just before 5pm on a weekday, most flavors had already run out, so only the low-sugar dried persimmon yogurt mochi (6,500 won) and the raw chocolate mochi (6,000 won) were left to take away. The dried persimmon mochi was a surprise hit, its sweetness lifted by tangy yogurt, while the raw chocolate mochi was sweet enough to call for an Americano.
