Dento is a new brunch café on the Bongsan-dong coffee street in Jung-gu, Daegu. On a weekday morning the writer and her husband ordered iced Ethiopia Yirgacheffe hand-drip coffee, hot peppermint tea and a plate of five bite-size open sandwiches, and the smoked salmon with avocado and the truffle cream were the best of the five. With fresh flowers on every table and a hotel-like mood, Dento suits brunch by day and a glass of wine in the evening.
