Siksa-dong dumpling hot pot lunch with Mom and her friend: Arirang

Arirang Gaeseong Son Mandu Siksa Branch (아리랑 개성손만두 식사점) is a Korean restaurant specializing in handmade mandu (dumplings) in Siksa-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang. The writer took Mom and Mom's friend there for lunch and ordered the Gaeseong handmade mandu hot pot (₩12,000 per person); the owner steamed some of the mandu separately and served them on the side, and the palm-sized handmade mandu and the kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) cooked in the rich broth were the highlights. Arirang Gaeseong Son Mandu is a generous, filling choice for lunch in Siksa-dong.
