On a friend's recommendation before shopping at IKEA, the writer ordered the weekday lunch special for two, flame-grilled bulgogi plus mixed grilled fish for ₩39,800. Ilsan Korean BBQ after Kintex: pork belly with seaweed salad, Auseong

Auseong Gaeseong Sonmandu (아우성 개성손만두) is a 24-hour North Korean-style handmade dumpling and kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) restaurant near Jeongbalsan Station in Ilsan, Goyang. After a Kintex expo, the writer had a late lunch of 2 servings of domestic pork belly (200g per serving) with doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) and rice for ₩38,000 in total, and especially liked the clean tables, the spicy doenjang-jjigae and the pairing with seaweed in chili vinegar sauce. Auseong Gaeseong Sonmandu is best known for kalguksu, but its pork belly lunch was satisfying for both portion and price.
