Bucheon spicy octopus spot, torch cheese fried rice: Yajju Yajju
Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch is a jjukkumi (spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus) restaurant near Exits 5 and 6 of Chunui Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. This visit was the Jjuu Jjuu set, which pairs beef brisket with jjukkumi, plus one extra beef brisket portion and extra shrimp, finished with cheese fried rice that a staff member melts at the table with a blowtorch. The house mayo sauce and perilla leaf wraps take the edge off the heat, which is why Yajju Yajju keeps earning return visits too many to count.
