Hanjeongsik in Chowol, Gwangju: cockle salad, barley gulbi at Bomseol

Bomseol is a hanjeongsik (Korean set-meal) restaurant serving stone-pot rice at the foot of a hill in Chowol-eup, Gwangju, Gyeonggi. Visiting with her mom, the writer ordered the cockle salad and the master-grade barley gulbi (salt-dried yellow croaker), which came with master banchan, stone-pot rice and barley rice, then finished with coffee and puffed rice snacks in the lounge. As a spot for a family gathering, Bomseol left the writer 1000% ready to return.
