Gwacheon bibimbap restaurant with kiosk self-service: Bibisam
Bibisam Gwacheon Main Branch is a Korean restaurant near Exit 11 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, serving Hwangdeung-style torim bibimbap, in which the rice is warmed with hot broth. Ordering at the kiosk, the writer had the Hwangdeung torim Korean beef tartare bibimbap, hot stone pot roe rice and Korean beef tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), and the nutty tartare went well with the clean-tasting seasoned vegetables, while the tteokgalbi turned the meal into a full Korean spread. Bibisam works just as easily for a solo lunch as for an office or group meal.
