A jajang fan's octopus jjamppong verdict at a Paju Chinese restaurant

Dolpanseok Jjamppong Paju Simhaksan Branch is a stone-plate Chinese restaurant on Dolgotgil in Paju, Gyeonggi. The order was the nurungji stone-plate jjamppong (crispy scorched-rice noodle soup) with a whole octopus added for ₩5,000 plus 4 pieces of handmade tungbosha (deep-fried shrimp toast), a set that came to ₩42,000, and the hot stone plate kept the broth steaming to the last bite with noodles that never went soggy. Even a diner who always picks jajangmyeon admitted the jjamppong at Dolpanseok Jjamppong won this round.
