Wait, there was a café like this in Gojan-dong? A bakery café with high ceilings and outlets everywhere.

This is Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch, a bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan. I'll go through the location, parking and menu, plus how the lemon bread and fig bread actually tasted. Looking for a roomy, comfortable bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan? I visited Flowerpot Cafe (플라워팟카페), which opened in the old Milhwadang spot.
I only meant to stop by for a cup of tea on a Friday evening, but the ceilings are high, the seating is generous, the tables are big and there are outlets all over, so I ended up getting some laptop work done too. It's comfortable whether you're working alone or meeting a group.
Where is Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, and where to park?
Flowerpot Cafe is at 164-12 Gwangdeok 2-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi, on the first floor of the Geumbada Building. There's a small parking area in front of the shop, but it's tight, so many people use the nearby MK parking tower. We, of course, walked~~~
Is Flowerpot Cafe good for studying and laptop work?

The ceilings here are high. It's so open.. it doesn't feel stuffy, and you don't have to whisper..
It's a little less cold by the big glass windows. Our seat.. being right by the glass, looks even airier. We got there around 7:30 pm, and perhaps because it was a Friday evening, there were lots of families. The tables are spaced generously and almost every seat has an outlet, so working on a laptop or studying felt no trouble at all.
Flowerpot Cafe review event and amenities
Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is running a Naver review event. Write a review with photos, show it to the staff, and you get a carefully made pretzel meringue cookie for free.
There are baby chairs and a separate stroller-friendly entrance, plus a microwave and a self-service packing counter. Pets are not allowed, I was told.
What bread and drinks does Flowerpot Cafe serve?

This Ansan dessert café has meal breads, sandwiches and pretty desserts too. There's salt bread, fig campagne, croissants, sandwiches, scones and cakes, a big variety, and they say everything is kneaded and baked by hand from early every morning.
The mango wakppu salt bread (₩5,200) is a trendy one.. I eat it so often that I'll skip it today.
The drink menu runs from coffee to non-coffee drinks, ades, smoothies, tea and fresh fruit juice, so whoever you come with, you can find something to suit. Besides basics like Americanos and café lattes, there are non-coffee options like matcha latte and black sesame latte, and you can also pick lemonade, green grape ade, various smoothies and fruit teas. Decaf is available too, so you can enjoy it late in the day without worry. With such a wide choice of drinks to go with bread, it was a satisfying place to spend a relaxed time.
Our Friday-evening order at Flowerpot Cafe and prices

We switched a hot Americano to decaf and ordered an orange cream latte (₩6,600), orange marmalade bread (₩8,000), a fig cream bar (₩5,800) and a white roll (₩5,300).

At Flowerpot Cafe, you carry the bread over and cut it yourself.

How does the orange marmalade bread taste?
We ate the orange marmalade bread in the café. It was moist, and the lemon aroma and the sweet-tart marmalade go together beautifully. Pretty too, right?

Orange cream latte and decaf Americano
My daughter doesn't usually drink coffee in the evening, but since it was Friday night she had a coffee drink and said it was really good and she was happy with it.

Me? Decaf, of course.
Fig cream bar and white roll to take home
I packed the fig cream bar and the white roll at Flowerpot Cafe and took them home. Since the bread has the sweet figs I love, I ate it with coffee the next morning for breakfast and it was delicious. The white roll is a safe, easy bread that my whole family likes.
If you're looking for a good laptop café in Gojan-dong, or want freshly baked bread and coffee in a roomy, comfortable space, I recommend Flowerpot Cafe.
