Solo gnocchi & risotto to go at a Magongnaru pasta spot: Pasta Go
In short
Pasta Go Magok Branch (파스타고 마곡점) is a kiosk-order pasta, risotto and pizza restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building near Exit 1 of Magongnaru Station in Gangseo, Seoul. On a solo weekday visit before the dinner rush, the writer had the creamy Gnocchi Lover as a solo set (salad and Trevi sparkling water) at Shin Ramyun spice level, and took a cheese shower tomato risotto home for the next day's lunch. Pasta Go Magok Branch is an affordable Magongnaru Station pasta spot that works well for both solo meals and takeout.

I was hunting for a tasty pasta place near Magongnaru Station, close to Seoul Botanic Park, and this is where I ended up~ Let me introduce Pasta Go Magok Branch, a spot near Magongnaru Station with good value and pretty good food!

How do you get to Pasta Go Magok Branch from Magongnaru Station?
Take the escalator connected to Botanic Garden Wedding Hall, between Exits 1 and 2 of Magongnaru Station, up to the 2nd floor and you'll find Pasta Go Magok Branch right there. It was easy to find even on a first visit.

It's within 3 minutes' walk of Exit 1, so it's really close to the station! You're there in no time after coming out of the exit, which makes it a great spot to drop by after work~ Love Line 9!

Pasta Go Magok Branch opening hours and takeout
Pasta Go Magok Branch is open daily 10:00–20:30, with last order at 19:50. Takeout is available too, so it works for a Han River outing as well!!
It's also a handy stop after a trip to Seoul Botanic Park or the Botanic Garden area, so I think it could work as a date course too.

Is Pasta Go Magok Branch good for eating alone?
The inside of the restaurant was super neat and tidy, and I went on a weekday before dinner time, so eating alone felt no pressure at all~

You order at the kiosk by the entrance! Let's take a look at the menu.

Pasta Go Magok Branch menu and price range
This is the menu of Pasta Go Magok Branch, a pasta and pizza place near Seoul Botanic Park! Pasta, risotto and pizza are all fairly reasonably priced, so it'd be perfect for an office worker's lunch, wouldn't it?? If it were near my office I'd go all the time, haha.

I'd been craving something rich and thick and creamy lately, so I ordered the Gnocchi Lover (뇨끼러버) and the cheese shower tomato risotto! One was a solo set and the other à la carte, and when you order a set you can choose various options, as in the photo.

Self-serve bar, food pickup and dish return
At the self-serve bar you can grab your own water and pickles, and you pick up and return your food at the counter.

If you join in with a Naver receipt review, they give you tasty churros too!

Both the self-serve bar and the tables were neatly kept, which made me really happy!!
Pickles all set!

Gnocchi Lover solo set at Shin Ramyun spice level
For the Gnocchi Lover solo set I chose the salad and Traevi. Gnocchi Lover is potato gnocchi bobbing in cream sauce, and it looked creamy from the first glance, so my expectations shot up the moment it arrived!!

The salad was just right as an appetizer too.

From the first bite, the smooth cream sauce and the gnocchi texture went so well together, totally my style~~
You can taste the plain, mild flavor of potato, and since I went with about Shin Ramyun spice level, the cream sauce never felt too heavy, which I liked.
There were mushrooms, bacon and croutons in there too, so it was fun to chew through!
Can you see how thick and creamy the sauce is?

I finished it off with the morning bread I'd saved, dipping it in the sauce.

Which means the dishwashing is basically done, haha.

Cheese shower tomato risotto to go, eaten for next-day lunch
The cheese shower tomato risotto I ordered along with it, I took away since I was dining alone, and ate for lunch the next day. The moment I opened the lid there was a generous amount of cheese on top of the tomato sauce, so the name was spot on.

The rice blended nicely with the sauce, tangy and soft and easy to eat. Eaten with the cheese it tasted nutty and rich, so I enjoyed it to the very end~

One was gnocchi and one was risotto, so the textures differed, and with cream versus tomato sauce the feel was different too, so I didn't get tired of them even eating back to back?? haha

Who is Pasta Go Magok Branch best for?
Prices aren't a burden and the menu is varied, so Pasta Go Magok Branch seems good for lunch, dinner, solo meals and takeout alike. It's right by Magongnaru Station, so it's a good bet when you need a quick meal near your office or want something simple near Seoul Botanic Park!
I'd recommend Pasta Go Magok Branch to anyone looking for a good place near Magongnaru Station, or who likes creamy gnocchi or risotto. Next time I want to try other pastas and the pizza too. It was a Magongnaru pasta spot that makes a light but tasty meal.
