Oterre Namyeong is a one-on-one hair salon in Yongsan, Seoul, up on the third floor of a building in the alley in front of Yongsan Police Station, a short walk from Namyeong Station Exit 1. The writer went with the youngest member of the team, three days from military discharge, for a short men's cut, and during the cut the designer explained how to apply wax, the order to grow the hair out in, and which styles suit his face. Private and quiet, Oterre Namyeong suits soldiers and uniformed workers who find busy salons stressful.
