Ppareuju Deopbap & Gangjeong is a takeout shop for rice bowls and dakgangjeong (crispy glazed fried chicken) on the 3rd floor of Yongsan Station in Seoul, on the Exit 3 side in front of the train boarding area. The writer took a large sweet-and-spicy dakgangjeong, cream shrimp and peanut bread to a friend's home, and the portions were generous enough to fill three people. For train snacks or a takeout lunchbox at Yongsan Station, Ppareuju Deopbap & Gangjeong is a solid choice.

On a weeknight the writer climbed the residential stairs to Cove Bar, drank a signature cocktail (about 25,000 won) and a classic cocktail (about 15,000–19,000 won) on the outdoor rooftop with a Namsan Tower night view, then moved to the indoor bar table because a friend felt unwell and ordered the 19,000 won sausage plate. Cove Bar has few filling snacks, but its night view and well-made cocktails make it a great second-round spot in Haebangchon.
