Today's spot is a snack place worth stopping at if you visit Seomun Market in Daegu! It's Daesin Peanut Bread (대신땅콩빵), which sells cute little breads with nutty, toasty peanuts inside 🥜

Seomun Market is famous for all kinds of food and street snacks, right? While you wander the market, you get pulled in by the good smells and end up trying one thing after another. This time I'm introducing a place where you can even watch the peanut bread being made.

Daesin Peanut Bread is in front of North Gate 11 of Seomun Market Building 2 (2지구 종합상가). It's about 304 m from Seomunsijang Station Exit 3, so it's a convenient place to drop by while you look around the market.

With market snacks, I think the fun is stumbling on them while you walk past. When you see bread baking warm, it's hard to just walk by. 😊

At the shop you can watch the peanut bread being made up close. Peanuts go into the mold one by one and the batter is baked around them, which caught my eye.

How is Seomun Market peanut bread baked?

Daesin Peanut Bread's peanut bread is baked golden brown in a special mold with peanuts put inside. First peanuts are filled into each mold cavity, and when the bread is done it comes out an appetizing golden color.

The bread comes out in a long peanut shape, and seeing lots of them baked at once had that special market-snack charm.
