Gyeongju walnut pastry shop, hanji-labeled Chuseok gift box: Buja Hodu
Buja Hodu is a walnut pastry (hodu-gwaja) shop near the main street of Hwangnidan-gil in Gyeongju, using 100% rice dough. For a Chuseok gift and souvenir, one 15-piece mix box and one 15-piece original box were packed at Buja Hodu, and the mix box used colored hanji paper and jewel decorations to mark pea cream cheese, low-sugar red bean and matcha, so nothing got mixed up. The big walnuts and mild rice dough made Buja Hodu's boxes work as both a gift for parents and a snack for kids.
