Overnight lip mask for sensitive, dry lips: Durgent
In short
Durgent Overnight Peptide Collagen Lip Mask is a Korean lip mask used for moisture care on dry, sensitive lips after cheilitis treatment. Its body-heat-melting texture felt light rather than sticky, and I layered it on thickly at night. A comfortable option for post-recovery lip moisture care.

How did I use it on sensitive lips after cheilitis treatment?
After receiving a dermatology prescription for cheilitis, my lips had recovered a lot, but they were still dry and sensitive. Rather than looking for something to treat them, I wanted a product that would moisturize lips left in poor condition after recovery without irritation, so I used this lip mask.

I especially managed the moisture by applying a generous amount of lip mask before going to bed. The product I used was the Durgent Overnight Peptide Collagen Lip Mask.

What are the texture and color like?
It is introduced as a product containing collagen and peptides. When I used it on my sensitive lips, I felt moisturized without pain or itching.

When I rubbed it gently between my fingers, it melted with body heat as I applied it. It felt less heavy or sticky, so it was fine for a light application during the day or before bed.

The color felt very sheer. With strongly colored lip masks, I worry about transfer or staining, but this one only added a subtle bit of healthy color to my bare face, and I felt there was less transfer too.
How did my lips differ before and after using it?
What were my lips like before use?

After cheilitis, the lines on my lips stood out and they developed flaky skin easily. Since I was also concerned that I might pick or scratch them when they itched and flaked, I first focused on moisture care to calm the flakes.

I melted it once between my fingers and applied it over my whole lips. During the day, I applied a light layer whenever I could, and at night, I reapplied it several times to build up a thick layer.

Right after application, the lip lines that had been emphasized by dryness looked less noticeable, and it felt moisturizing. It contains shea butter, and my lips felt much more comfortable.
How did it feel the morning after applying it at night?

When I applied a generous amount at night and slept, the flaky skin on my lips felt naturally softer the next morning. When I normally removed flakes after applying lip balm, it could sometimes irritate my lips after cheilitis, but after using this product, that process felt relatively gentler.
If your lips still feel sensitive and dry after cheilitis treatment and you are continuing moisture care, its texture and feel may be worth considering. Still, rather than using it as a substitute for treatment, I approached it as moisture care after recovery, as in my experience.
