While looking into wedding nails in Apgujeong, this photo caught my eye! I once got nails at Naeil Didi (내일디디) even though I wasn't a bride, because their wedding nail designs were so pretty, so it was the first place I thought of before my wedding.
What wedding nail designs does Naeil Didi have?
Naeil Didi is an Apgujeong nail salon that uses genuine Swarovski stones, so the sparkle is gorgeous, but I wanted clean wedding nails, so I only went with a gradient. They say white gradient and pink gradient are the most popular, and I liked that I could compare a variety of tones to suit my own hands.
The last time I went was a post from a whole 3 years ago!

Brides-to-be, what design are you going to pick for your wedding nails? I know it's a big worry. Naeil Didi is already full of wedding nail designs, and their taste for glamour within simplicity is perfect for the big day. I was torn between just two options, white French or gradient nails, and while browsing Naeil Didi's Instagram I found that 'glaze nails' are gorgeous too! The colors are out of this world, and I think they'd look great on a pedicure as well.
Where is Naeil Didi, how do you park, and which floor is it on?

Naeil Didi, my pick for wedding nails in Apgujeong, is 296 m from Exit 6 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station. Just head into the Rodeo street area. Valet parking is available for ₩5,000, and you can stay parked for the whole treatment.

I get confused about which floor Naeil Didi is on every single time! Press the top floor in the elevator, then walk up one more flight of stairs. Just don't go into the aesthetic salon~
Naeil Didi opening hours and atmosphere

Naeil Didi is open every day from 11:00 to 21:00, so you can visit after work, which is a relief for someone like me with no days off. The interior is clean and bright, done in white.

There's a pedicure area too, so next time I'd like to get a foot treatment as well.
How much is gel nails at Naeil Didi?

Naeil Didi, a nail salon in Apgujeong Rodeo, has 4 seats in total. When I visited, all 4 technicians were there and reservations kept coming in.

Natural nail care before wedding nails and the almond shape
Starting with the before photo! I'd been growing my nails out, waiting for this very day for my wedding nails. For several months I went around with natural nails, applying nutrient treatments and keeping them clean for the sake of nail health.

There was no old polish to remove, so they went straight into care and asked how long I wanted my nails. I usually keep them as short as possible, but since I won't be typing on the honeymoon, I asked for a slightly longer almond shape.

They started with cuticle removal and were so thorough that I was very happy with the care.

The nails on my two hands were different lengths, and they kept checking and evening those out too.

Comparing 4 nude base tones: which color did I choose?
At Naeil Didi they painted on 4 nude tones so I could find the base color that suits my skin tone and the season. Except for the thumb, can you see the difference between tones 1, 2, 3 and 4?
I decided to go with the first tone. Since they're nude colors, there's hardly any difference in photos, but to me No. 1 looked the clearest, No. 2 slightly pink, No. 3 a bit muted, and No. 4 like a spoonful of gray that suits autumn.
- No. 1: the clearest-looking tone (chosen)
- No. 2: slightly pink
- No. 3: a muted feel
- No. 4: a spoonful of gray that suits autumn
Here is the base coat in color No. 1 applied all over.

How is the white gradient done?
For the white gradient, they dabbed white gel only on the tips of the nails and blended it with a sponge,

and when I said the lamp was too hot every time they cured, they paid extra attention.

Maybe other customers often get the monthly art loaded with Swarovski stones, because another technician came over to grab stones, which left an impression. It was neatly organized and I was amazed by how many kinds there were.

Once the wedding nail gradient was done, it was cured once more with a top coat.

They use lots of tools during care, and one of them is this toothbrush, which I found funny enough to photograph.
For the last step I tried this lamp, and it hurt less, which was amazing. I'd been doing gel nails so often that my nails felt like they were begging for mercy, but that has nothing to do with Naeil Didi! After finishing, they also applied an oil-type serum at the counter.
White gradient wedding nails: the finished look

Here's the finished white gradient for wedding nails in Apgujeong. Doesn't the soft, glowy look suit them so well? They're clean and understated, I'm really happy with them, and it feels like +1 battle power, like I can get through the wedding just fine!

With nude gel nails, I worry my hands will look too dark, so I can't go for a very light color. But Naeil Didi lets you test 4 colors together before deciding, so I'd recommend it if you're looking for a nail salon that does careful work.
