Summer rattan bag with black dresses: Meda Bag

Why did I choose a resort rattan bag in advance?

When traveling to hot countries, cool-looking materials such as rattan bags seem to suit the setting so well. Still, at local rattan markets, it was hard to find one with both a design and quality I liked. Once I considered practical details such as the finishing and an inner pocket, I felt the price went up a lot.

This time, I ordered one in advance from the Meda Bag Smart Store. Delivery was fast when I received it, and I also liked the resort-style design.

Its bright color made it easy to match with clothes, and it felt like it made resort outfits look even more cheerful.

The bag came in a dust bag and also had a layer of plastic wrapping.

What are the size and interior storage like?

I like bags that hold plenty, so I pay close attention to size and storage. This bag felt like a nice, not-too-large size. It also looked good for carrying a light outer layer to wear indoors where the air conditioning is on.

The bag closes with a zipper, and there is one pocket inside. It looked convenient for keeping separate the small things that tend to roll around inside a bag.

How does it look with a black dress?

I paired it with a neat black sleeveless dress. The bright bag softened the dark feel of the black outfit, so it looked like a good match for a resort look too.

How was it on the shoulder or arm?

I liked that the inside of the shoulder strap is finished in cotton, so the rattan did not leave marks on my skin. It was fine worn as a shoulder bag, or carried on my arm when my belongings were not too heavy.

Does it go well with other summer dresses?

The bag itself felt light and had a summery mood. It also went well with a dress I bought locally.

The bag I received had rattan weaving that felt intricate. I liked its shape from different angles, too.

I mostly wear dresses in summer because it is hot, and I liked the bright color because it was easy to match with different clothes. I would like to take it along when traveling to a hot country, too.
