Sokcho ramen restaurant with hiyashi chuka cold ramen: Ichiba Ramen
Ichiba Ramen is a ramen restaurant on Jungang-ro in Sokcho, Gangwon, open daily from 9am to 10pm. Two people visiting just before lunch on a weekday ordered miso ramen at 10,000 won, hiyashi chuka (cold ramen) heaped with red snow crab meat at 13,000 won, and chashu-don at 5,500 won, for 28,500 won in total. With rich broth, generous toppings and largely Korean-grown ingredients, Ichiba Ramen works just as well for a morning hangover cure as for a late-night bowl in Sokcho.
