Korean bar in Sadang, Seoul: two rice bowls in altang, Jindallae Silbi
Jindallae Silbi Sadang Branch is a retro Korean cooking bar on the second floor near Sadang Station in Dongjak, Seoul, where an imokase chef's-choice course brings 15 dishes for 39,000 won per person. Ordered for two, the course covered abalone porridge, bossam, soy-marinated raw crab, steamed whole squid, aged sashimi, pork cutlet, sweet-and-sour flatfish, seafood pancake and altang (fish roe stew), and because rice and instant noodles are free, two bowls of rice went straight into the altang broth. For a team dinner or a proper night of drinks with friends in Sadang, Jindallae Silbi is hard to beat on value.
