Today I'm going to tell you about getting a lash lift at On The Boutique (온더부티크) near Seonjeongneung Station.

Where is On The Boutique and how do you get in?

On The Boutique is a 1-minute walk from Exit 4 of Seonjeongneung Station, or a 10-minute walk from Exit 7 of Seolleung Station. If you're looking for a lash lift in Seolleung, I'd recommend it. I live near Seolleung Station, so it was an easy, casual walk for me.

You go up half a flight in the building and you're right there. There was a note on the door, so I knocked and the staff opened it right away.

Inside, a dried pollack (myeongtae, hung as a charm to ward off bad luck) was hanging up, and it was so cute that I snapped a photo, haha.

On The Boutique's atmosphere and services

Straight ahead from the entrance is a counter with several promotions, like lash serum and loyalty points and discounts. On The Boutique is a beauty shop that specializes in sugaring wax as well as lash lifts, so you can get both done in one visit.

Pastel furniture goes nicely with the white interior, so the whole place feels cute. There's also a huge mirror, so you can check the result right after your treatment, haha.

Why I got the On Ttolmang Perm before a trip

The treatment I had that day at On The Boutique was the On Ttolmang Perm (온더 똘망펌)! I usually get a lash lift before I travel. (I came before an overseas trip this time too 😉)

I normally use an eyelash curler, and every time I go for a lash lift I hear, "Your lashes are all broken from the curler." (T_T) (I heard it again that day, hehe.) So if your lashes are healthy, getting a regular lash lift is honestly the better choice! Doing eye makeup every single morning is exhausting, right? A lash lift is perfect for that!

What made me trust On The Boutique even more is the pile of reviews saying "Nth visit." That means people keep coming back and a lot of them come through friends' referrals. I'm only getting it once and writing a review, but my lashes turned out really pretty, and I fell for the owner's skill 🌟

The blanket on the treatment bed is a sunny yellow and so cute.. 💛 I was a little warm from walking over, so I had the treatment without the blanket. When I said I was hot, the owner pointed a small fan at my face, and I was so grateful (T_T)

Prominent eyes with double eyelids: how does the consultation work at On The Boutique?

In the consultation, the owner first asks whether you like a tightly lifted curl or a natural curl. My lashes are medium in volume and longer than average. With my prominent, frog-ish eyes and double eyelids, I've heard every time I get a lash lift that it'll look really pretty once it's done.

Honestly, I'm happy with anything that suits me, so I just asked the owner to do whatever looks good on me, hahaha (I'm someone with no preferences, I guess...)

Then, as I was lying there comfortably, the owner told me to open my eyes and handed me a hand mirror, and I had total doll lashes!! Pure shock ✨ It's the first time they've ever come out this pretty, so I was seriously stunned!

Any eye stinging with the On The Boutique lash lift?

Unlike other lash shops, the stinging during the treatment at On The Boutique wasn't bad. When you open your eyes right after a lash lift, they sting and water, and it's not just me, right? But at On The Boutique there was none of that stinging...!

After the On Ttolmang Perm, my eyes look so much more defined and neat. The effect is amazing..💘

Compare the before and after side by side: you can see how my originally drooping lashes are now lifted right up, can't you? The curl from the side was so pretty (T_T)
