Thai restaurant with a moody evening pub vibe in Daegu: Thai Yami
Thai Yami is a Thai restaurant in Gyodong, Jung-gu, Daegu, tucked behind the old Novotel building, with a lunch menu at midday and a separate dinner menu of à la carte dishes made for drinking. On an evening visit, the dining room turns into a dimly lit pub under pin lights, and the order was the signature pad thai and kai phrai (fried chicken) with fresh-squeezed orange juice instead of beer because of the drive home. Two dishes were more than enough to fill two people at Thai Yami.
