Today I visited Mac9Table, a Blue Ribbon-certified restaurant in Namyangju known for both taste and atmosphere 🥹💙 The space was full of atmosphere and the elegant, thoughtful cooking made it a treat for both the eyes and the mouth!

The careful plating even nailed the balance of flavors, so I'd strongly recommend this place for a special date course or a gathering ✨ Let's start this post about Mac9Table, a Blue Ribbon spot also famous in Hopyeong-dong.

Where is Mac9Table and where to park

Mac9Table is on the 1st floor at 59-1 Cheonmasan-ro, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and parking is in the shared commercial building lot. Since it's shared with other shops the space isn't super spacious, but you can park right in front of the restaurant and walk straight in, which made getting around really convenient!

The eye-catching Mac9Table sign on the building's front made the store easy to find without any trouble 😌🧡 Coming around the side of the building you'll see the nice entrance to Mac9Table! The clean, stylish exterior made me even more excited for the food I was about to try haha

Mac9Table's atmosphere and private room

As soon as I stepped inside Mac9Table, the stylish, neatly arranged interior caught my eye right away. The soft lighting and mood were so nice that even an ordinary day felt like it turned romantic and special, gift-wrapped for no particular reason! 🎁

Inside Mac9Table there's a cozy private room set apart, an independent space where you can talk and eat without worrying about anyone around you 🥹👍

Beyond the usual dishes you'd find at any typical pasta or steak restaurant, Mac9Table has its own distinctive, creative Western menu items, which made choosing really fun ⭐️

What we ordered: the Mac9Table steak set

What we ordered at Mac9Table was the steak set, which comes with carbonara, americano and cola. Being a Blue Ribbon survey spot, my anticipation kept building the whole time we waited, wondering what kind of careful, special dish would arrive!

We visited with kids, and they prepared a baby chair and baby dishware for us too 🥹🧡

First, the iced americano and cola we ordered arrived ❗️ The drinks came in big glasses packed with ice, so generously filled that just looking at them chased the heat away 🧊 Being a coffee lover myself, I was really satisfied with the iced americano — the acidity was mild without being overpowering, and a heavy, nutty flavor came through underneath ☕️

And finally, the steak set we'd been waiting for arrives 🥩

Yuzu salad

The subtly tangy, slightly zesty sweetness of the yuzu dressing mixes smoothly with the heavy, nutty richness of the cheese — the kind of taste you keep eating without stopping 🥗

Carbonara

Mac9Table's carbonara (cream pasta with bacon and egg) has a sauce that's not too runny but pleasantly thick and smooth, clinging to every strand of noodle, so each bite was full of nuttiness 🤎 Watching my picky first child inhale it made me proud and happy as a mom 🥹 It's a proper pasta that anyone, of any age, can enjoy without complaint!

Tenderloin steak cubes

The tenderloin cubes came cut into bite-sized pieces, easy to eat and easy to share with the kids, and the tenderloin itself, seared golden outside and juicy inside, released plenty of juice with every bite 🤎 Colorful vegetables, carefully grilled, rounded out the flavor balance, and it came with two special sauces to lift the savoriness of the steak even more — letting us enjoy it in different ways depending on our taste 👍
