How do you order at Manokamana Branch 2?
You scan the QR code on the table and order from your phone. There's a wide range of menu items, from single dishes to sets, with detailed descriptions, so ordering was easy 😊

What comes in Manokamana's Set B
Out of all the options, I ordered Manokamana's Set B. Sets are available for 2 or more people, and they seem very popular because you get everything from green salad to chicken tikka, curry, naan, rice and lassi at a reasonable price!! You can choose your naan, curry and drink, so order to suit your taste :)

What's the atmosphere like at Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2?
It's on the B1 floor of Triple Street, but the ceiling is high, so it felt open rather than stuffy. Being inside a big shopping mall, it's clean and pleasant overall, with that distinctive exotic vibe! The tables are spaced widely and there are plenty of seats, so I think it would work for a date, but also for family, friends or group get-togethers like a company dinner 💕
Calm wood tones, gold accents and soft lighting gave it a refined feel, so I could eat comfortably!!

When I visited, they were running an event giving 5% off for leaving a Naver receipt photo review, so if you enjoyed your meal, leave a review and get the discount!
The tableware was clean, and a staff member brought cold water as soon as we sat down, which made the meal even more satisfying.

Does Manokamana serve free side dishes?
Yes, the side dishes are pickles, jalapeños and seasoned onions. Curry places usually don't give you side dishes, but Manokamana does, so I could eat all the way through without it getting greasy~ The onions were spicy-sweet and tasty too.
How is the green salad in Set B?
The first thing out in Set B was the green salad 🥗. Lots of people eat salad before a meal these days for blood sugar, and since Manokamana includes salad in the set, it was good for keeping blood sugar down before the heavy curry and naan, and for whetting the appetite 💙
The dressing had a tropical-fruit sweetness like mango or yuzu (citron) with a sour vinegar tang, and the vegetables were fresh, so it tasted even better!!
Plain lassi or mango lassi: which is better?
For the Set B drinks, I ordered the mango lassi and my companion ordered the plain lassi!

Quick explanation for anyone who doesn't know lassi: it's a yogurt smoothie, much thicker and deeper in flavor than the drinkable yogurt you buy in stores. When your mouth is tingling from spicy curry or strongly spiced tandoori chicken, it calms the heat right away and cleanses your palate, which is why it's such a popular drink~~
Honestly I don't really like lassi, but Manokamana's is less sour, and maybe it's adjusted to Korean tastes, because the tangy-sweet flavor came through well and I really enjoyed it! The plain one is good too, but the lassi blended with fruit purée is even better, so order to your taste~~🙏

Is the chicken tikka in Manokamana's Set B boneless?
Set B comes with boneless chicken tikka, not bone-in tandoori chicken. The chicken is deboned, cut into big bite-sized pieces, marinated, skewered and grilled in a clay oven!! Curry places usually serve tandoori chicken rather than chicken tikka, so this was different.
Being boneless, it's easy to eat without getting your hands messy, and the marinade soaked all the way through, so chicken lovers will definitely be satisfied. Salad comes alongside the tikka and they go well together, so enjoy the salad with it too!
I'd worried it would taste strongly of spices, but it didn't. It was spicy yet tender, something anyone of any age would enjoy! It's good on its own, but even better dipped in the chili sauce that comes with it, so give that a try 😊

Are the chicken masala and butter naan spicy?
The mains of Set B were chicken masala, butter naan and rice! The chicken masala was slightly spicy with a deep spice flavor, and the boneless chicken pieces gave it a nice chew. The sauce is mildly spicy but rich in savory depth, so I think even people who are usually sensitive to spices would enjoy it.

Now we have to put the chicken masala on the butter naan, right? The butter naan was nutty, chewy and had a sweet butter aroma, and I'd really recommend ordering it if you come to Manokamana!! Topped with the spicy chicken masala sauce, the heat is softened and the savoriness goes up, so it tasted even better.

But the naan is seriously huge!! It had no raw flour taste at all, which made it even better ✨😊

Finishing the curry with rice
You finish curry with rice, of course!! If Korea's rice thief (a dish so good you keep eating rice) is ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab), then India's is definitely curry~~ The chicken masala has a tomato-based savoriness and a spicy flavor that I think Koreans would like without any divide, and eating it over rice really brought out the curry flavor, which I loved.
Final verdict on Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2
Friendly staff, a clean and spacious restaurant, a varied menu, and good-quality curry and sides. If you want really good Indian curry in Songdo, I recommend Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2💛
