Chat Baker after an outing at Anseong Farm Land
Last weekend, my friend and I went to Anseong Farm Land and then wondered which nearby café to visit. We heard Chat Baker had easy parking and looked spacious, so we decided to give it a try. The moment we walked in, the exterior felt open and neat. Somehow, I stepped inside already feeling at ease.

The green sign and huge glass windows looked so refreshing.

The entrance was neat and stylish too.

Parking, opening hours, and a spacious interior
Chat Baker Brunch & Bakery Café is at 3-dong, 4391 Seodong-daero, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is right near Anseong Farm Land, making it perfect to add to a day-out itinerary. The parking area was so large that even new drivers should have nothing to worry about. There was plenty of space in front of the café, and even more farther inside. I parked comfortably thanks to all that room.

It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Bakery items and drinks are available during those hours, while brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. I checked on Naver Place! Inside, the ceiling is wonderfully high, and the café is split across the first and second floors, so it feels completely open. The tables are generously spaced too, which makes it easy to relax.

The high ceiling made the space feel airy rather than stuffy. There was also a neat staircase leading upstairs, which made me curious about the second floor. With sofa seating and floor-cushion seats, it was fun choosing where to sit. The clean, atmospheric interior would be lovely for a date too. Pretty plants throughout added a fresh feeling.

The green plants were soothing to look at. There was also an unusual water-curtain feature with water running down the window, and the children found it fascinating. I liked that they paid attention to details like this.
A bakery display that makes choosing a joy
There are so many breads that you fall into the happiest dilemma over what to choose
Further inside, all kinds of breads were on display. The scent of freshly baked bread drifted through the air and stopped me in my tracks. Everything looked delicious, so I fell into that happy dilemma of what to choose.

There were truly so many breads that we looked around for quite a while. We ordered an iced Americano and almond latte, then chose a wonderfully varied spread: red bean butter salt bread, plain salt bread, Mont Blanc, fig campagne with balsamic oil, a mocha bun, and corn loaf. We had skipped lunch, so we wanted to try this and that. The photos do not show them, but there were lots of drinks and brunch dishes too. After ordering, we used the self-service station where you can warm up your bread. It had a microwave and water ready, so we could enjoy the bread warm, almost like it had just come out of the oven. I loved that thoughtful touch!

From red bean butter salt bread to Mont Blanc
From crisp-outside, soft-inside salt bread to sweet Mont Blanc—bread lovers, gather here!
When the drinks and bread arrived, they looked absolutely delicious from the start. The iced Americano was cool and clean-tasting, while the almond latte had a deep nuttiness that suited my taste perfectly.

The table was so full of bread and drinks that I felt full just looking at it. The first thing I tried was the red bean butter salt bread: crisp on the outside and moist inside, with a wonderful combination of salty butter and sweet red bean paste. You really have to try this one! The plain salt bread was also good—salty and nutty, with all the basics done right.

This was the red bean butter salt bread with an incredible sweet-and-salty combination. The salt bread was crisp outside and pleasantly chewy within. The Mont Blanc had distinct layers in its texture along with a soft sweetness, and it disappeared in no time. The fig campagne became nuttier the more I chewed it, and it made a healthy yet delicious pairing with balsamic oil.

It was sweet and soft, and I kept reaching for more.

I loved the combination of its wholesome flavor and balsamic oil. The mocha bun was soft with a gentle coffee aroma, so it went nicely with coffee, while the corn loaf was nutty and moist enough to keep me reaching for another bite.

It was soft and full of coffee aroma. According to information on Naver Place, Chat Baker’s breads are fermented with natural sourdough without artificial additives, and they use only 100% dairy butter rather than margarine-blended butter. Maybe that is why the breads seemed to have such a deeper, more delicious flavor.
A comfortable stay in a spacious setting
With a roomy, pleasant space and quality bread and drinks, the value feels quite good

For such a large café, I thought Chat Baker’s prices were not overly burdensome and felt reasonable. Being able to enjoy bread and drinks of this quality in such a wide, comfortable space made it feel like good value. The staff were kind, and the café was kept clean overall, so I could stay pleasantly. The self-service station was well set up too, which was convenient.
