Seolleung Station sushi restaurant: ₩20,000 BEST1 set, Sushi Maiu

Sushi Maiu Seolleung Station Branch is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant about 150m from Exit 5 of Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Sitting alone at the bar seats on a weekend around 5pm, I ordered the Popular BEST1 set for ₩20,000 (beef tartare, salmon, soy-marinated shrimp, garlic shrimp, wagyu and garlic steak sushi plus mini udon) and added a grouper sushi. Because Sushi Maiu keeps few plates on the belt and makes each piece to order, the fish came thick and fresh, and the soy-marinated shrimp sushi was my favorite.

Steak poke bowl with boiled egg in Gangnam, Seoul: Ola Poke Gangnam

Ola Poke Gangnam is a poke restaurant about five minutes' walk from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. The Steak Poke at 14,500 won came with a half salad, half oat brown rice base and a 1,000 won boiled egg topping, for 15,500 won in total, and the bowl held generous toppings and tender steak that never got boring to the last bite. For a filling but still light solo meal near Gangnam Station, Ola Poke Gangnam was a satisfying choice.
