Charcoal cleansing balm makeup test: HEEDA Jirisan Moist

How did I use the HEEDA charcoal cleansing balm?

I scooped out an appropriate amount of the solid balm with the spatula and massaged it over my skin for about 30 seconds. Once it melted smoothly with my body heat, I added water to emulsify it, then rinsed it off.

It did not melt when left at room temperature in summer, and it was not hard when I first opened it, so it was easy to scoop out. Still, it felt like a formula that melted quickly once it touched my skin.

Was the spatula storage convenient?

The most convenient thing was being able to secure the spatula to the lid. Spatulas stored separately can get lost or be a hassle to keep clean, but this one could stay with the lid.

Did it remove makeup well?

I tested it on the back of my hand with tint and eyeshadow applied, letting them sit for a while instead of using it right away. After melting the solid balm, massaging it in, and emulsifying it with water, the makeup came off cleanly, and it felt minimally sticky after rinsing.

It was also easy to massage over my face with only a small amount, and my skin felt moisturized rather than tight after cleansing. This is based on the writer's own experience of using it.

Can it be used on the body too?

The original post also introduced using it about once a week on the back and chest like a body pack. As with facial use, massage it in, emulsify with water, and rinse.
