Ikseon-dong bakery snack with kids on a history walk: Munhwa Bakery
Munhwa Bakery is a small takeout bakery in an Ikseon-dong alley in Jongno, Seoul, about 200m on foot from Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Station. Stopping in for a snack during a history outing with the kids, the writer packed the signature garlic bread and onion bagel, which the staff sliced so the family could share them right on the street. Even the child who usually avoids onions finished the onion bagel, and the line was short that day, so entry was immediate.
