For a happy weekend brunch of delicious handmade hamburgers, I headed to Downtown in Suseong, Daegu.

Where is Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage?

Downtown Daegu Believe Heritage is on the first floor of the Believe Heritage shopping arcade in Beomeo-dong, Suseong, Daegu. It sits alongside Clap Pizza and Knotted Donuts, right next to Yunokyeon Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes).

How to order at Downtown, and parking

You can order easily at a kiosk, and parking is available in the apartment arcade.

Atmosphere and seating at Downtown

With its cozy wood interior and free-spirited tiered seating, the place is full of a somehow hip vibe.

There's a self-bar, and if you order a drink you can help yourself to as much of any soda as you like.

Is it okay for solo meals or family outings with kids?

It's great for a relaxed solo lunch, and the varied seating layouts also make it a good fit for eating in a bigger group.

There are baby chairs too, so on weekends it's a nice spot for a brunch-style family meal with a child.

What we ordered at Downtown

We ordered a Shrimp Burger set and a Downtown Burger set. The burgers are cooked as soon as you order, and they came out hot and faster than I expected.

The taste of capitalism that makes you feel like you're in America, the Downtown burger 🍔 There's a reason the famous places are famous! Having a Downtown near home is great for when I'm craving a handmade burger.

If you look at a hamburger ingredient by ingredient, it's a well-balanced, healthy meal, so dieters, let's not feel guilty.

How does the Downtown Shrimp Burger taste? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The key to the Downtown Shrimp Burger is the thick shrimp patty. Juiciness, I guess you'd call it? It's so thick that the chew is just incredible.

The Shrimp Burger bursts in your mouth, and it's superb. The spicy sauce is the kicker, and the combination was honestly the best. I'm a big fan of other chains' shrimp burgers, but now they're no match for Downtown... I really recommend the Shrimp Burger!

Is the signature Downtown Burger okay for a kid?

The signature Downtown Burger is the classic American burger, loaded with cheese. It was a handmade burger that was just right for my child 🍔 It's bigger than franchise burgers, so finishing one seems like it would leave you stuffed, but my child ate it happily.

Downtown side menu: cup salad and fries

Downtown even sells cup salads as a side, so you can make the meal a bit healthier.

The thick fries 🍟 were so so good.
