Bundang Korean restaurant with self-serve rice bar: Myeongyeok Sunae
Myeongyeok Bundang Sunae is a chicken kalguksu (knife-cut noodle) and naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant 271m from Exit 3 of Sunae Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. On a weekend family outing the writer's family shared one of each — half-chicken kalguksu at 11,900 won, Western-style mixed chicken katsu at 10,900 won, and perilla oil cold noodles with two pieces of chicken tenderloin katsu at 14,900 won — and dipping the kalguksu noodles in the perilla oil sauce gave one bowl two flavors. With rice free at the self-serve corner, Myeongyeok Bundang Sunae is a good choice when you want a filling meal.
