Osan Air Base Chinese restaurant, rainy-day seafood jjambbong: Jangsu

Jangsu Jjambbong Jeonmunjeom is a Chinese restaurant in Godeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, specialising in jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and sitting right in front of Osan Air Base. On a rainy day a couple ordered the regular jjambbong, jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) and a small sweet and sour pork, and the standouts were the fiery broth piled with mussels and squid and the pork fried in an old-style batter. With a large parking lot and a bright, clean dining hall that handles group meals easily, Jangsu Jjambbong Jeonmunjeom is worth a return visit.
