No-wait sushi takeout for a home dinner in Incheon: omakase, Minyeong

Minyeong Hwareo Gongjang Moraenae Market Branch (민영활어공장 모래내시장점) is a takeout-only sushi shop inside Moraenae Market in Namdong, Incheon. In July, instead of going out for a dinner appointment, the blogger picked up an 11-piece omakase sushi set (18,000 won) and a 7-piece engawa (flatfish fin) sushi set (15,000 won) at dinnertime with no wait, and the thick salmon sushi and the engawa sushi, with no fishy smell, tasted especially fresh. For good-value sushi at home without waiting even at dinnertime, Minyeong Hwareo Gongjang Moraenae Market Branch is a good fit.

Lunch-rush cream coffee café at Songdo outlet: hot Wunder Coffee

Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is a cream coffee café in the B1 food square of Hyundai Premium Outlet (Songhyeona) in Songdo, Incheon. At the lunch peak, the writer waited less than 5 minutes to order two hot Wunder Coffees (₩6,800 each) and one iced Americano: the Wunder Coffee was sweet enough for a sugar boost, and the iced Americano was nutty with no acidity. Wunder Coffee Bar is worth a visit when you want to choose a Songdo café for its coffee, whatever the weather.

Songdo bakery café sold-out ang-butter, castella salt bread: Cozy Bear

Cafe Cozy Bear Salt Bread Bakery Songdo Hagwonga Branch is a salt bread bakery café on the first floor of Karis Plaza, in the hagwon (private academy) district of Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. On a Saturday at 2pm the writer took home two plain salt breads (3,500 won each), one potato (4,500 won) and one castella (5,000 won), but the handmade ang-butter salt bread (5,800 won) was already sold out. The plain was crisp outside and moist inside, the potato chewy and the castella soft, so Cozy Bear is worth a trip — just go at the 09:00 or 14:00 bake times for the popular flavors.
