Today my partner and I went on a date to Songjeong, and we stopped by Songjeong Dol Jjamppong (송정돌짬뽕), famous for its Busan jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup)!! My partner kept saying it's super famous~~~ and was so curious that we just had to go eat there haha.
Where is Songjeong Dol Jjamppong and what are its hours?
Songjeong Dol Jjamppong is at 67 Songjeonggwangeogol-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, on the 1st floor, and it is open every day from 11:00 to 21:00. Break time is 15:30 - 17:00 and last order is at 20:00.

It's really close to Songjeong Beach, so I think you could easily walk over from the beach!! In summer, it would be so nice to come straight here when you're hungry after swimming.

It has been on TV, and the look of the jjajang and jjamppong coming out on a stone plate is amazing, so I had big expectations 🤭💗
Is there parking at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong?
Yes, you can park right in front of the restaurant! But there are only 4 spots, so on weekends I'd call ahead 🥹 That said, it's Chinese food, so tables turn over quickly and you probably won't wait long~~~
Inside Songjeong Dol Jjamppong and its self-serve corner
The interior was clean and really spacious, so it would be good for groups too~~~ The self-serve corner had pickled radish, onions and scallion kimchi!! I bet the scallion kimchi with stone jjajang would be amazingly good 🤤

I also saw the ingredients chart, and it was so witty that I took a photo haha.

Before ordering, there was a guide on how to eat the food deliciously. And ⭐️no scraping the bottom!!⭐️

What to order at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong, and which spice level?
The main menu was stone jjajang (black bean noodles) and stone jjamppong, and we ordered the whole-squid stone jjamppong and glutinous-rice tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork)!! We chose spice level 1 for the jjamppong, and for us it wasn't spicy at all, even a little sweet.
I think level 1 is good for families with kids. If you easily handle Shin Ramyun and like Buldak, I'd recommend level 2 or higher!!

How does the whole-squid stone jjamppong taste?
Finally, the whole-squid stone jjamppong arrived!! ✨ It was bubbling and bubbling, a violently good look, right? haha The tangsuyuk came out quickly too, so we photographed them together haha.
The jjamppong had a big handful of bean sprouts on top, and the glutinous-rice tangsuyuk had a curious look, with coating powder clinging to the outside haha. It looked so crispy that I was drooling 🤤💦

Maybe it's because the noodles are boiled together on the stone plate, but unlike other jjamppong places, the noodles soak up the broth really well and it was so good!

Seafood galore too 💗💗👍🏻

There was a huge amount of seafood like scallops, shrimp and whole squid, so the flavor was deep and it was so good haha.

Glutinous-rice tangsuyuk with the special soy sauce
The glutinous-rice tangsuyuk at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong had solid, thick pieces of meat and a really big portion. Thanks to the coating powder it was super crispy, and it went so well with the sauce that came with it haha.

Also, if you ask the staff, they'll bring you special soy sauce separately! Unlike regular soy sauce it's a little sweet, and it went well with the tangsuyuk.

Broth-soaked noodles with scallion kimchi… 🤭 Need I say more~~ It was delicious like this, but next time I have to try the stone jjajang with scallion kimchi!!

How to mix the rice into stone jjamppong
When you order stone jjamppong, the staff bring a separate bowl of rice, and everyone seemed to mix it in like fried rice?! We tried it too and it was so good 👍🏻 I just can't post a photo of the mixed rice, it's an eyesore~~ㅜㅜ

Don't miss the dessert yogurt at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong
As we were leaving, full and happy, we found that Songjeong Dol Jjamppong also has dessert yogurt ready! It's in a corner of the restaurant, so it's easy to miss. If you're reading this, please grab a dessert yogurt to freshen your mouth haha ☺️ Thanks for the meal~
