Hanmaeum Butcher Restaurant Yangsan Seoksan branch opens at 11 a.m., which makes it a great butcher-style barbecue place in Yangsan for a beef lunch. Do you all like beef, dear readers? Honestly, I can't imagine anyone disliking it, but my mom's soul food is beef, haha.
My mom hasn't been feeling great lately, so she's been going to a hospital in Yangsan. After her appointment I asked what she wanted for lunch, and of course the answer was beef, haha. I went looking for a beef place that opens at 11 a.m. and actually found one. Let me introduce this Yangsan beef spot, Hanmaeum Butcher Restaurant. Shall we go see it together?!

Where is Hanmaeum Butcher Restaurant, and where do you park?
It's right across from Dongwon Royal Duke 2nd complex in Yangsan New Town, so it was easy to find. If you park in the OK parking lot right behind the restaurant, you get 2 hours of parking covered.
The place is big and the interior is clean, so it seemed perfect for a family meal or a company dinner.
A restaurant with a play room: good for kids?
The play room here is really big, so it's a great Yangsan barbecue place to bring children. Restaurants with play rooms are rare these days, right? It's school vacation and I'm sure moms are exhausted, so this feels like a really good restaurant to go to with kids.

They sell set menus like whole cow, half cow, whole pig and half pig, along with plenty of single cuts. There are also meal dishes and lunch specials, so order whatever suits you.

We came for lunch and ordered the half-cow set. The side dishes are set out as soon as you order, and they come neat and tidy.

This is the half-cow set we ordered. Premium rib meat, rib meat, bone-in ribs, chuck flap and beef belly come to 300g in total, which is great value.
How did the half-cow set taste grilled?
Now let's grill the beef properly. Put it on the well-heated grill and let it sizzle. Beef is love!!
I grilled the premium rib meat and rib meat and ate them up, haha. Actually this isn't my first time at Hanmaeum. I think this is about my third visit, haha. I've come every time my mom has a hospital visit, because it's good value and the meat is tasty, so here we are again.
Beef belly goes on too, haha. I love that you can gobble it up right away, haha.
Personally, I think the beef belly has a nice balance of lean meat and fat, and it's rich and tasty, haha.
Then I put on the bone-in ribs and chuck flap. There's more than you'd expect.
It's aged fresh meat, not chilled meat, so the quality is good and the value is really great. It wasn't tough at all, had no gamey smell, and was delicious.
The must-order yukhoe bibimbap and ice cream for dessert
Every time I come to Hanmaeum I always order the yukhoe bibimbap (rice bowl topped with raw beef tartare). I like yukhoe and beef sashimi more than grilled beef, and Hanmaeum's yukhoe bibimbap is delicious. Please try it, haha.
For dessert there's also the sweet soft-serve ice cream I love. I think kids would really like it too, haha.
I really enjoyed the beef, the yukhoe bibimbap and the ice cream for dessert at Hanmaeum. I'll probably be back soon, the next time my mom has a hospital visit, hahaha. The value is truly great, so give it a try, dear readers!!
