Large bakery café by Hopo Station, Yangsan: pain au chocolat at Choi

Choi Main Branch is a three-story bakery café right next to Hopo Station in Yangsan, Gyeongnam. On a weekday afternoon visit, four breads including a blueberry cream cheese croissant and a pain au chocolat plus two coffees came to under 32,000 won, and Choi splits its flow across floors: ordering and the bakery on 1F, café seating on 2F, and a rooftop on 3F. Crisp-outside, soft-inside croissants, generous coffee servings and easy parking make Choi Main Branch a Yangsan date spot worth returning to.

Jokbal restaurant for group dinners near Silla University, Busan

Sasang Paldo Jokbal is a budget-friendly jokbal (boiled pork trotter) restaurant on Baegyang-daero in Sasang, Busan, near Deokpo and Silla University. Two people ordered the half-and-half jokbal in the large size for 35,000 won plus self-serve rice balls for 3,000 won — the small is 30,000 won, so the large was the easy pick, and the same-day boiled domestic jokbal was chewy with no gamey smell. With several four-person and group tables, Sasang Paldo Jokbal suits Silla University group meetups and Deokpo family gatherings.
