Hadong private pool villa with outdoor pool: Aruncoast

In short

Aruncoast is a detached private pool villa in Jingyo-myeon, Hadong, Gyeongnam. I leisurely enjoyed the first-floor private pool, third-floor terrace, outdoor pool, and abalone porridge breakfast at Aruncoast3. Aruncoast was a satisfying Hadong stay for relaxing with wide-open views.

My partner and I spent one night at Aruncoast, a Hadong pool villa, during our trip. There was a private pool inside the room as well as a separate outdoor pool. Above all, the view from the stay was so lovely. The Aruncoast3 room where we stayed is divided across the first through third floors, so it was fun exploring each level too. If you are looking for a pool villa where you can stay privately in Hadong, this may be worth keeping in mind.

Aruncoast is on Balkkumi-gil in Jingyo-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. We drove there, and parking was available, so it was easy to use.

When you arrive at Aruncoast, the white-toned building and palm trees are the first things that catch your eye. The whole place has a resort-like feel, so I felt like I was on vacation as soon as we arrived.

I heard that the owner’s younger sibling, who studied architecture, designed Aruncoast personally. Maybe that is why every space, from the exterior to the room interiors, felt beautifully put together. There is also parking around the building, making it convenient to visit by car.

After arriving, we first went to the front desk to check in. The front desk was neatly arranged, and one side was wide open, so it was nice being able to see the scenery outside too.

Check-in starts at 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM.

There was also a small shop beside the front desk. It was not large, but it is good to know that there is a simple shop within the property.

After checking in, we headed to the Aruncoast3 room where we would stay. It is a detached villa with its own entrance. The space is divided over the first through third floors, so we started by looking around the first floor. (The floor with the entrance is the second floor.)

First floor bedroom · living room · bathroom · private pool

The first floor has a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and private pool. The bedroom had a generously sized bed, and the wood-toned furniture and warm lighting created an overall calm mood. Right beside it was a living room with a large sofa and table. The view opened up wonderfully beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, and it was lovely just sitting on the sofa and taking it in.

And the spot that stood out most on the first floor was, of course, the private pool! 💦 It connects directly to the living room, so it was easy to go back and forth from the room. The view opened up beautifully in front of the pool too, making it great to enjoy while swimming. There were plenty of towels prepared, haha.

When we visited, it was late summer, so we could enjoy it plenty without adding heated water. In the cooler fall or winter weather, though, I think it would be so nice to add heated water and enjoy it warmly. The private pool was an important point for me when looking into Hadong pool villas, and I was satisfied after using it myself. Heated pool water costs ₩100,000; let them know in advance if you need it.

Up the stairs on the second floor, you will find the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen had an induction cooktop, sink, microwave, and refrigerator, along with basic cooking equipment such as dishes, cups, pots, pans, and cutlery. Everything needed to prepare a simple meal was well provided. A large dining table sits in front of the kitchen, and you can take in the scenery through the floor-to-ceiling window beside it. 👀

Welcome food

Welcome food was prepared on the table too. A basket held fruit such as bananas, kiwis, and oranges, along with a few easy snacks. It was nice to have one or two when we got hungry after arriving at the stay. 👍

Outdoor barbecue area

There was also an outdoor barbecue area on the second floor that you can step out to directly. It has its own table, so it looked great for enjoying a barbecue outside on a nice day, haha. It is close to the indoor kitchen too, so it seemed convenient for bringing food and other things back and forth. The barbecue add-on is ₩50,000 and includes a Weber gas grill, foil, and meat tongs.

Third floor bedroom · bathroom · terrace

Lastly, we went up to the third floor. It has a bedroom, bathroom, and terrace. There is a large floor-to-ceiling window in front of the bed, and the view from here was really beautiful! 🌿

Third-floor bedroom in wood and beige tones

The bedroom was decorated in wood and beige tones, making it cozy, and there was a wood-toned vanity and a Dyson hair dryer on one side. It was convenient not having to bring a hair dryer separately. The bathroom was clean in gray tones, with a sink, shower area, and bidet. Since there is a bathroom on every floor, I think it would be convenient when several people stay together.

Outdoor pool and abalone porridge breakfast

Outdoor pool

Along with the private pool inside the room, Aruncoast has a separate outdoor pool. Follow the path between the villas downward and you will find a spacious pool, with an unobstructed view right in front of it. Personally, it was one of my favorite spaces at Aruncoast. ✨

The scenery while swimming was so nice that it made me want to stay longer for no reason. There were sunbeds and parasols nearby too, perfect for taking a quick break from the water.

Abalone porridge breakfast the next day

The next morning, we also requested the abalone porridge breakfast. A full spread came with abalone porridge, rolled omelet, and several side dishes. We had a hearty breakfast before getting ready to check out, haha. An additional fee applies when requesting breakfast.

A Hadong stay memorable for its private pool and views

Room view for the Aruncoast stay review

At Aruncoast3, where we stayed this time, we could enjoy both a private pool and an outdoor pool. More than anything, the open view from the stay and the outdoor pool were what stayed with me most.

When we visited in late summer, we could enjoy the private pool without heated water, but I think it would be nice to add heated water and enjoy it warmly in fall or winter. My partner and I had a satisfying, relaxing stay. If you are planning a Hadong trip and looking for a Hadong pool villa where you can enjoy both a private pool and an outdoor pool, Aruncoast may be worth considering.
