Cuttlefish stone jjamppong with chicken sweet-and-sour: Ulsan
Ulsan Daewangam Dol Jjamppong is a stone-pot jjamppong and jjajang restaurant on Ilsanjin 5-gil in Dong-gu, Ulsan. Visiting with her partner, the writer ordered a two-person stone jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) with added cuttlefish plus 'chitang,' the chicken sweet-and-sour side, then scraped up the scorched rice at the bottom of the stone pot to finish. With its own parking lot and a self-serve bar, it's an easy stop on a trip to Ilsan Beach or Daewangam Park.
