Looking for a bakery near Sinjung-dong Station, I ended up at Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong (이지화이트브레드 부천신중동점).

It's right next to Ten Pro Coffee. I'd been curious since I knew there were already a lot of regulars here, and once I visited I understood why. The white bread this place is famous for especially — go too late and you might not be able to buy it.

I went there specifically for the white bread, and I got to experience the sad situation of it selling out right in front of me. T_T

By the time I arrived, the white bread was almost all gone.

Then someone who looked like a regular came in and swept up all 4 remaining white breads at once. I could only stand there watching with envy….

I'd come there just to buy one white bread, and watching it sell out right in front of me somehow made me want it even more, haha. Luckily there was still one slice of white bread sold by the piece, so I quickly grabbed that instead, and bought a freshly baked chestnut streusel bread as a backup.

The white bread from Easy White Bread was really soft when I ate it at home.

It wasn't just fluffy — it melted smoothly in my mouth with a subtle buttery flavor, which made me regret only buying one slice even more.

It's the kind of bread that tastes great even torn off and eaten plain, without jam or anything else. Next time I'll have to visit earlier and properly buy a whole loaf.

The chestnut streusel bread I bought instead of the white bread was still warm, having just come out of the oven.

Just carrying the warm bread bag home already put me in a good mood.

We got home and cut it right away with the family — the result: gone in seconds.

Maybe because we ate it while still warm, the bread was moist and soft, and the chestnut pieces throughout paired really well with it.

I picked it out of disappointment for missing the white bread, but the chestnut streusel bread was so satisfying I think I'll buy it again alongside the white bread next time. The edges especially are delicious 👍

I also got a drip coffee takeout to go with the bread. The store itself isn't large, but there's a small table inside that looked fine for a quick bite of bread and coffee.

Rather than feeling like a big, flashy bakery café, it felt more like a small neighborhood bakery that regulars keep coming back to. Even while I was there, I saw people casually picking out bread like they knew exactly what they wanted, which made it clear this place already has plenty of regulars.

Most of all, having watched someone buy 4 white breads at once right in front of me, I came away fully convinced of its popularity. :)
