Yongsan tteokbokki spot, fried mandu plated separately: Hyeonseonine
Hyeonseonine Yongsan Main Branch is a tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) restaurant on Yongridan-gil in Yongsan, Seoul, where you can choose between a single-serving tteokbokki and the instant tteokbokki cooked at your table. A regular who had only ever ordered the solo portion went for instant tteokbokki for two with a ramen add-on and fried rice, and found that the two eggs, four fried mandu and generous jjolmyeon that come as standard made the ramen unnecessary. Because Hyeonseonine serves the fried mandu on its own plate, they stayed crisp to the last bite.
