Insadong gomtang restaurant solo lunch with table seasoning: Wolhadong
Wolhadong is a hanok pork gomtang (pork bone soup) restaurant in an alley off Insadong 8-gil near Ssamziegil in Jongno, Seoul. Dining alone, I ordered the signature Wolha Gomtang by table QR and got a milky, rich broth with no gamey smell and plenty of pork, then used the seasoning kept on the table to make it spicy to taste. Nothing about Wolhadong is harsh on the stomach, which makes it an easy lunch pick in Insadong.
