Family lunch and squid leg fry at Seolleung gyukatsu spot Gyuen Dang
Gyuen Dang Seolleung Branch is a Japanese gyukatsu (beef cutlet) restaurant near Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul, that opened on September 5. Three of us — me, my mom and my youngest sibling — ordered sirloin gyukatsu, brie cheese omurice, potato curry and a side of gesoage (fried squid legs), and the rice and fried portions were almost too much to finish. Arriving right at opening time means no wait, and the sirloin gyukatsu you grill to taste on the tabletop brazier at Gyuen Dang was the highlight.
