Solo lunch at a Gangseo soba restaurant, 15,000-won cutlet set: Hekbap

Hekbap Kkachisan Branch is a Japanese rice bowl and soba restaurant in Gangseo, Seoul, a one-minute walk from Exit 3 of Kkachisan Station on the second floor of the Lotteria building. For lunch alone, the zaru soba pork cutlet set cost 15,000 won and came with icy cold soba broth and a thick, well-drained cutlet that kept me full until dinner. With window seats for solo diners and baby chairs for families, Hekbap Kkachisan Branch works for both.
